Social Media Intern

GetGreen is a platform for sustainable change that helps cities, universities, and companies meet their sustainability goals. Formed in 2021, GetGreen aims to transform industries and the environment through collective individual action by fostering sustainable habits. The application is available on both Google Play and Apple AppStore. GetGreen clients currently include 20 different municipalities, universities, and companies in the United States and Europe.
Role Description
GetGreen is looking for a creative and driven Social Media Intern to join our team! This unpaid internship (15-20 hours/week, M-F, minimum 3-month commitment) is ideal for someone passionate about sustainability and eager to grow in a fast-paced, design-forward environment. This is a unique opportunity to gain real-world experience and strengthen your resume. You'll lead the creation of social content including designing graphics, editing short-form videos, and writing compelling captions, as well as regular social engagement on behalf of the brand.
We are looking for a strong and diverse portfolio and. although no full-time prior job experience is required, you will need to showcase your contribution and extended ownership of social media creative and management on personal, school, and/or community initiatives. Please highlight which channels you have background in, with priority given to LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram. Please include reference to the creative tools you have the most familiarity with, including your background on Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects. Please also confirm your level of experience with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office/365 applications. You should be quick with turnaround, excellent at managing your time, and excited to collaborate! The role is mostly remote with occasional in-person meetups in Seattle, and has the potential to evolve into a paid full-time position. Please include a portfolio with your resume and note your weekly schedule availability with your submission.
