Triangle Digital and GetGreen Launch Travel Green to Connect Employee Climate Action to Verified Carbon Offsets

NEW YORK, NY, Climate Week NYC — Triangle Digital, the financial infrastructure for the carbon economy, and GetGreen, a leading employee sustainability engagement platform, today announced a strategic partnership to launch Travel Green, connecting individual employee actions directly to measurable emissions reductions and verified carbon offset retirement.

GetGreen makes sustainability actionable at the individual level. Its mobile-first platform uses personalized recommendations, education, gamification and behavioral incentives to help employees make lower-carbon choices, including how they commute and travel for business.

Triangle provides the financial infrastructure behind those actions.

Triangle’s end-to-end platform transforms the measurable environmental performance of real-world assets into regulated, financially tradeable digital assets, with carbon as its flagship market. Through Triangle’s Carbon Pool, organizations can access verified carbon credits just in time as retirement demand occurs, rather than purchasing and holding large blocks in advance, with complete records of provenance, verification, ownership and retirement.

By connecting the two platforms, Travel Green creates a continuous link between individual behavior and real-world carbon outcomes.

Employees can reduce emissions through better choices. Organizations can measure that activity. And where emissions remain, Triangle’s Carbon Pool provides verified credits just in time as retirement demand occurs, allowing organizations to retire against actual activity without pre-purchasing and warehousing carbon-credit inventory.

“GetGreen changes behavior at the point where emissions are actually created,” said Darren Wolfberg, CEO of Triangle Digital. “Triangle provides the financial infrastructure that continuously connects those actions to real carbon assets and verified retirement without requiring companies to pre-purchase the credits they may eventually need. Together, we turn employee participation from a sustainability gesture into an ongoing, measurable environmental outcome.”

The solution initially targets business travel and employee commuting, two important categories of Scope 3 emissions that are heavily influenced by individual decisions.

“GetGreen has always been focused on making sustainability personal, accessible and actionable,” said Brian Ringer, CEO of GetGreen. “Connecting with Triangle means those actions can now extend continuously through to verified carbon retirement. That makes the impact more tangible for employees and more meaningful for the organizations they work for.”

Travel Green can operate as a standalone employee application or integrate with existing corporate HR and workforce platforms.
